Shore hardness (A, D) test
Shore (Durometer) hardness is a measure of the resistance a material has to indentation: for a prescribed force, the depth of the indentation is measured.
Shore A covers a wide range of rubbers from extremely soft and flexible up to hard rubbers and plastics with minimal flexibility.
Shore D is for testing hard and semi-rigid plastics and rubbers.
Test specimen can also be prepared at an extra cost, contact us for more information.
